Jim Thunder is an Oji-Cree MBA graduate from Sachigo Lake First Nation, Treaty 9 Territory. Currently serving as the Policy Manager at the Government of Manitoba and as an adjunct professor of Indigenous Economic Leadership at the University of Manitoba, Jim has also held the position of Director of Economic Development for Norway House Cree Nation. Active in Truth and Reconciliation initiatives, they are involved with Reconciliation Thunder and Circles for Reconciliation. With a strong skill set in public speaking, leadership, and project management, Jim has contributed to various organizations, enhancing their expertise in economic development and policy.
