Joel Batten is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in sales and marketing across the pharmaceutical and biotech industries. Currently serving as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing at MannKind Corporation, Joel is focused on building a new team to launch into the Pediatric Academic space. Previously, Joel held the role of Chief Commercial Officer at 42Bio, Inc., where the focus was on driving profitability for its subsidiary brands. As Executive Vice President at Veru Inc., Joel established the Infectious Disease franchise, achieving significant financial targets. Joel's career includes senior leadership positions at Sobi and AstraZeneca, where a track record of exceeding sales targets and developing strategic initiatives is evident. Joel holds a BA in Communications/Public Relations from the University of North Florida.
