Michael Hassman

Michael Hassman currently serves as Senior Vice President Operations at MannKind Corporation, a position held since November 2025. Prior to this role, Hassman held various senior leadership positions, including Senior Vice President Operations and SVP Manufacturing and Supply Chain at scPharmaceuticals from May 2018 to November 2025, and Vice President of Operations at Podimetrics. Hassman's extensive experience in the medical device industry also includes roles as President and COO at CeQur, where leadership was provided in product development and manufacturing for insulin delivery devices, and as SVP Operations at Accellent, overseeing multiple manufacturing facilities. Earlier roles included VP Manufacturing at Smith and Nephew and Director/VP Manufacturing at Oratec Interventions, contributing to significant improvements in manufacturing and logistics. Hassman's career began in the US Army as a Platoon Leader and Executive Officer after graduating from the United States Military Academy at West Point with a BS in Mechanical Engineering.
