Sara Smith

Sara Smith has a diverse professional background spanning education and healthcare sales. Beginning with a role as an AP Biology and Freshman Biology teacher at Mount Michael Benedictine School from August 1993 to May 1997, Sara also taught Theology, Speech, and Study Skills, and coached the Speech Team. Transitioning to the corporate sector, Sara worked as a Senior Sales Representative for Eli Lilly from April 1998 to May 2003, followed by a position as Marketing Director at Nebraska Spine Center from September 2008 to October 2012. After a notable tenure as an Instructor for Science ACT Test Preparation at 3MT Test Prep from February 2008 to September 2019, Sara served as Chemistry teacher and later as Director of Student Activities at Creighton Preparatory School from May 2013 to June 2025, overseeing over 60 clubs and student events. Recently, Sara has been employed as a Cardiorenal Account Specialist at MannKind Corporation since September 2025. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science from Marquette University (1988-1992) and a Master's of Science from the University of Nebraska at Omaha (1994-1997).
