Stephen O'Brien

Stephen O'Brien is currently the Head of Platform at MANTIS Venture Capital. Prior to this, they were a freelance Scenic Designer and an apprentice at Iceland Ocean Cluster.

O'Brien has always been interested in visual story telling and design. This led him to pursue a career in scenic and production design. Stephen has worked on commercial film and photo sets, and has been a crucial part of many photo and video shoots.

In 2017, O'Brien took an apprenticeship at Iceland Ocean Cluster. This experience taught him about the sustainable cod fish industry in Iceland and the many innovative technology startups that are working to make a difference. Stephen also gained a wealth of knowledge about sustainable and environmental business practices.

O'Brien's experience in both the creative and business world has made him a valuable asset to MANTIS Venture Capital. Stephen is constantly working to help the company find and invest in the most promising startups.
