Stephen Connor

Stephen Connor has a diverse work experience in the field of metal additive manufacturing and solar cell application. Stephen co-founded Mantle Inc. in 2016, where they played a crucial role in developing the next generation of metal additive manufacturing technology for precision parts. Prior to that, they worked at PLANT PV from 2011 to 2016 as The Chemist, where they led the chemistry team in producing metal powders for low-cost metal paste used in solar cell applications. Additionally, they worked as a Graduate Student Researcher at Stanford University from 2007 to 2011, where they focused on fabricating ternary solar absorber materials and conducting full characterization of semiconductor layers.

Stephen Connor earned their Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley, from 2004 to 2007. Stephen then pursued their doctoral degree in Chemistry at Stanford University from 2007 to 2010.
