Maya .

Maya is the cofounder and CEO of why?!, a role they have held since 2023. They left the corporate world in spring 2022 to pursue this mission full time. They previously led global marketing as Head of Global Marketing at Clubhouse (2021–2022) and served as Director of Marketing, Editorial & Publishing at Netflix (2016–2021). Earlier in their career, they were Vice President, Marketing & Social Media at OWN: The Oprah Winfrey Network (2014–2017) and Coordinator, Affiliate Relations at Harpo Productions (2008–2011). Maya earned a Master of Science in Integrated Marketing Communications from Northwestern University, a BS in Marketing & Advertising from Indiana University South Bend, and a degree in Public Relations & Marketing from the University of Miami, and resides in Atlanta, GA with their 18-year-old daughter Michelle and two dogs, Claire Huxtable and Tina Turner.
