Brian Malia

Brian Malia is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in cloud platform engineering and infrastructure management. Currently serving as Director of Cloud Platform Engineering at Manulife since June 2019, Brian leads diverse teams to create modern, secure, and automated cloud environments with a focus on Infrastructure as Code. Prior to this role, Brian was Manager of Global Infrastructure and Operations at IHG, overseeing teams responsible for automation and provisioning of critical infrastructure services. Brian's earlier experience includes a Principal Engineer position at E*TRADE Financial Corporation, where a real-time data analytics solution was designed to enhance stock trading activity analysis, as well as engineering roles at Brandmuscle and GWIS Internet Solutions. Brian earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Kent State University.
