Bruce Mitchell has over three decades of experience in technology and product ownership, primarily at Manulife since January 1990. In the current role as Technical Product Owner for Amazon Connect, Bruce leads the implementation of a new Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS) platform. Previous roles at Manulife include Technical Product Owner for Salesforce Service Cloud and Solution Architect for Digital Solutions, focusing on Contact Centre architecture and the Canadian Division Contact Centre Transformation project. Bruce also established the Architecture practice within the Wealth Management Shared Services organization and served as a Technical Architect for VoIP implementation. Earlier in his career, Bruce was an Application Development Consultant for external websites and a Senior Systems Consultant for IT Operations in Manulife Japan, managing the Ingenium and Actuate technical environment. Bruce began as an Application Developer at Prudential Assurance from May 1985 to January 1990 and holds an Honors Bachelor of Mathematics in Computer Science from the University of Waterloo.
