Don Blane

Don Blane possesses extensive experience in taxation services and financial management, with a career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as the Director of Taxation Services at Manulife Financial since January 1999, Don oversees client tax reporting and service for Canadian Division clients, while also managing reconciliation of withholding tax accounts. Prior roles at Manulife include Director Operations Taxation and Manager Taxation, focusing on tax reporting and client service for Wealth Management systems. Previous experience includes significant positions at the City of Kitchener as a Sales Tax Specialist and Financial Analyst, as well as leadership as Chair of Autism Canada Foundation from 2010 to 2017. Don holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Wilfrid Laurier University and is affiliated with the Society of Management Accountants of Ontario.
