Eric Lippart

Eric Lippart has extensive work experience in the field of cyber security. Eric currently serves as the AVP and Head of Global Cyber Security Operations at Manulife/John Hancock since July 2020. Prior to this, they worked at Capital One from 2016 to 2020, where they held various roles including Director of Engineering Three Sixty and Director of Cyber Security. In these roles, they were responsible for managing and leading engineering teams, developing and deploying "Big Data" systems for cyber analytics, and overseeing the engineering and redesign of Cyber's data lake. Before joining Capital One, Eric worked at MITRE from 2004 to 2016, holding roles such as Principal Cyber Security Engineer, Lead Cyber Security Engineer, Senior Cyber Security Engineer, and Cyber Security Engineer. At MITRE, they were involved in strategic cyber defense initiatives, designing and deploying database servers, and developing security mechanisms for terrorist-related databases.

Eric Lippart's education history includes earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Cornell University, which took place from 1998 to 2002. Eric then pursued a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in the same field at Cornell University from 2002 to 2003.
