Iris Ho

Iris Ho is a seasoned actuary with extensive experience in the financial services sector, currently serving as VP and US IFRS Chief Actuary at John Hancock, a role held since May 2009. Prior positions at Manulife include AVP and Actuary, where responsibilities included leading global actuarial projects and managing US life liability modeling. Iris began the career as an Associate Actuary and progressed through roles such as Senior Actuarial Associate, focusing on product support and segregated funds guarantee capital. Prior to Manulife, Iris worked in treasury market risk management at CIBC and in actuarial pension consulting at Eckler Ltd. Iris holds a Bachelor of Mathematics with Honours in Actuarial Science and a minor in Statistics from the University of Waterloo.
