Iris Ho

Iris Ho has a strong background in actuarial science with extensive experience in the insurance and finance sectors. Most recently, from October 2014 to August 2022, Iris served as VP & US IFRS Chief Actuary at Manulife, leading global actuarial projects and strategic cost management, as well as US life liability modeling for John Hancock. Prior to this role, Iris worked as an actuary focused on group finance actuarial tasks related to segregated funds guarantee capital. Before joining Manulife, Iris held a position on the Treasury Market Risk Management team at CIBC and provided actuarial pension consulting services at Eckler Ltd. Iris holds a Bachelor of Mathematics degree, specializing in Honours Actuarial Science with a minor in Statistics from the University of Waterloo.
