Mark Lutzer

Mark Lutzer, CFE, serves as the Director of Fraud Risk Management at Manulife, a position held since June 2010. Lutzer leads teams of anti-fraud professionals focused on preventing, detecting, investigating, and deterring healthcare fraud and abuse. Prior roles at Manulife include Senior Program Manager and Supervisor in Investigation Services within Risk Management. Lutzer also contributed as a Workshop Speaker at the 2015 Canadian Pension & Benefits Institute conference, presenting on benefits fraud and prevention tactics. Before joining Manulife, Lutzer worked as a Benefits Fraud Investigator at Equitable Life, where responsibilities included managing investigations related to health and dental benefits. Lutzer holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Waterloo, earned in 2005.
