Michael Tsao

Michael Tsao is a CPA, CA, and FLMI with extensive experience in the tax sector. Currently serving as Co-Chair of the Sales Tax Working Group at the CLHIA since July 2023, Michael has held various leadership positions at Manulife since January 2018, including AVP and Director of Canadian Tax and Commodity Tax. Prior experience includes nearly a decade at KPMG in various roles related to indirect tax, culminating as Senior Manager, and a position as a Tax Auditor at the Canada Revenue Agency. Michael Tsao earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Toronto between 2004 and 2008.
