Michael Ward is currently serving as the Assistant Vice President and Associate Chief Counsel at Manulife Financial Corporation. With extensive experience in legal counsel, Michael worked as Senior Legal Counsel at the Ontario Securities Commission from 2006 to 2008, and held the position of Partner at McMillan LLP from 2001 to 2005. They began their legal career as an Associate at Torys LLP and later at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP. Michael earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from The University of Western Ontario - Huron University College and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Toronto.
