Thaddeus Yu

Thaddeus Yu currently holds the position of Chief Marketing and Strategy Officer at Manulife Vietnam since July 2025 and serves as a Director on the Board of Directors at Manulife General Account Investments (HK) Limited since October 2024. Previously, Thaddeus worked as Chief Strategy Officer and Head of the Macau Branch at Manulife Hong Kong and Macau from April 2023 to June 2025, as well as Chief Strategy Officer within Manulife Asia from October 2021 to April 2023. From May 2016 to September 2021, Thaddeus was a Director at Cigna International Markets, where responsibilities included strategy and business development, as well as leading the New Business team during a secondment at LINA Korea. Thaddeus holds multiple degrees from the University of London, including a Master of Laws (LLM) in Commercial and Corporate Law, as well as various postgraduate qualifications in international business law and insurance law. Further education includes a Postgraduate Certificate in Psychology and Neuroscience of Mental Health from King's College London.
