At ManUp, we are committed to breaking the silence around men’s mental health and creating a safe, supportive community where men can openly address their struggles. Founded in 2024 in Wexford, our mission is to provide a space where men can find support, share experiences, and connect with others who truly understand.

Our Mission and Vision
Our mission is clear: to combat the stigma surrounding men’s mental health and offer a lifeline to those who may feel isolated or unheard. We believe in fostering an environment where every man feels empowered to reach out for help, knowing they are not alone in their journey.

We envision a future where mental health is prioritized for all men, and where seeking support is seen as an act of strength, not weakness.

Our Story
ManUp was born out of tragedy. A string of suicides in our community, and particularly the heartbreaking loss of a close neighbor, sparked the need for action. Our founders saw firsthand the devastating toll that silence and stigma can take on men’s mental health, and they decided it was time to create a space where men could talk openly about their struggles without fear of judgment.

Since our founding in 2024, we have been dedicated to providing peer-led support, resources, and community to men aged 18 and above. Our weekly support group has grown steadily, and we are proud of the positive impact we’ve already made. Many of our regular members have shared how attending our group has made a real difference in their lives.
