Bruce

Bruce Ma has extensive experience in systems administration and engineering, currently serving as the Manager of Systems Administration at MAP Communications since November 2023, following a role as a Senior Systems Engineer there from January 2020 to September 2023. Bruce's expertise includes server deployment through Infrastructure as Code, Microsoft Active Directory administration, and virtualization environment management with VMWare and Hyper-V. Prior to MAP Communications, Bruce worked at Stericycle as a Senior Systems Engineer, providing support for escalated technical issues and managing Active Directory. Bruce began a career at TigerTel, progressing from Systems Support Technician to Systems Administrator, where responsibilities included ensuring data integrity of backup systems and supporting users with operational issues. Bruce holds a Bachelor of Technology Management and a Diploma of Technical Studies in Network Systems Technician from the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
