Mapa da Cachaça is the leading platform dedicated to the appreciation, research, and promotion of Brazilian artisanal cachaça. Our mission is to connect people with the world of cachaça through educational content, rigorous sensory evaluations, exclusive interviews, and immersive cultural experiences that celebrate the richness and diversity of Brazil’s iconic spirit.

Since 2012, Mapa da Cachaça has been recognized as a pioneer in mapping and showcasing Brazilian cachaça. It was awarded by the Ministry of Culture as the best cultural mapping project in the country in 2012 and selected by MinC and Embratur to represent Brazilian gastronomy during the 2014 World Cup through books, videos, and events.

Mapa da Cachaça was the first Brazilian platform to introduce cachaça to major international events such as Rhum Day (Milan), Tales of the Cocktail (New Orleans), Bar Convent Berlin, and London Cocktail Week. Our dedication to education and content creation has been recognized by the Gourmand World Cookbook Award, and we shared our insights in the TEDx Campinas talk "Cachaça is Ours. And What It Says About Us."

In 2019, we launched the first bilingual platform dedicated to cachaça, making knowledge about Brazil’s most iconic spirit accessible worldwide. In 2023, we partnered with Academia da Cachaça and Vista Alegre to design an exclusive cachaça tasting glass. In 2025, we published the first edition of the Guia Mapa da Cachaça, a pioneering bilingual guide featuring blind sensory evaluations of Brazil’s top cachaças.
