Andrei Talpinski

Andrei Talpinski is a Data Specialist at Mapbox since August 2023, with extensive experience in academia, particularly at Belarusian State University from August 2018 to June 2024. Talpinski has held the position of Senior Lecturer, responsible for teaching courses in Cartography and Maps Design and Construction, managing student research, and overseeing the education quality system and distance learning via LMS Moodle. Prior to this, Talpinski served as a Lecturer, conducting practical classes and field practices in Cartography and Topography, and as an Intern Lecturer, focusing on similar subjects. Additionally, Talpinski worked as a Junior Researcher at НИЛ экологии ландшафтов БГУ in 2020, where responsibilities included mapping specially protected natural areas. Talpinski holds a Master’s degree in Earth Science, Geodesy and Cartography and a Bachelor's degree in the same field from Belarusian State University.
