Matthew Peyton

Matthew Peyton is a Senior Software Engineer currently working at Mapbox and Hivemapper, with a strong background in software development and data science. Originally from Philadelphia, they graduated with a BA in Data Science from UC Berkeley, where they also studied urban planning and computer science. Previously, they contributed to Visual Labs, Inc. by developing a body camera evidence management system and enhancing machine learning models, among other accomplishments. They have also worked at Beans.ai, where they significantly improved business logic and developer efficiency.
