Mikko Salmi

Mikko Salmi is an accomplished engineering manager with extensive experience in leading R&D teams across various organizations. Currently serving as the Engineering Manager for the Core SDK at Mapbox since May 2023, Mikko previously held the position of Director of Business R&D at WithSecure from March 2022 to May 2023. Prior to that, Mikko spent over a decade at F-Secure Corporation, where significant achievements included expanding a B2B product R&D organization from 20 to 70 engineers and leading a diverse team across four international locations. Throughout a diverse career, Mikko has also held leadership roles in several other companies, including YE International and OOO Trainers' House, and has developed a solid foundation in information systems science with a Master’s degree from Aalto University.
