Owen Powell is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in product design and consultancy. Currently serving as a Senior Product Designer at Mapbox since May 2022, Owen previously held roles at Arup as an Associate and Senior Consultant from September 2012 to May 2022. Prior to that, Owen worked as a GIS Analyst at Habitat Biodiversity Audit and held positions as an Account Manager at Dotted Eyes and Logistics Consultant at PTV Group. Early in Owen's career, a role as a GIS Sales Consultant at Mapmechanics, a CACI company, was foundational. Owen earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Painting from Liverpool John Moores University between 1999 and 2002.
