CFO at Mapbox

Scott Hill is the current Chief Financial Officer at Mapbox. Prior to joining Mapbox, they served as the Chief Financial Officer at MobileIron from July 2018 to December 2020. At MobileIron, Scott was responsible for pivoting the company from a single-product focus on endpoint management to a multi-product focus on endpoint security and user identity. Scott also transformed the company from an on-premises license model to a SaaS subscription business. Under Scott's leadership, the size of the cloud business doubled and subscription ARR grew by 50%.

Prior to their role at MobileIron, Scott served as Senior Vice President, Finance, Consumer Business at Symantec from August 2009 to June 2018. During their time at Symantec, Scott improved revenue growth from 5% decline to 6% organic growth at constant currency. Scott also led the financial aspects of the $2.3B acquisition of LifeLock.

Before joining Symantec, Scott spent eight years at JPMorgan as an Executive Director in Technology Investment Banking from September 2001 to February 2009. Prior to JPMorgan, they were a software engineer at Digital Receiver Technology from December 1997 to September 1999.

Scott Hill received their MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business with a focus in finance, strategy, and entrepreneurship. Before that, they received their Master of Science in electrical engineering from The George Washington University. Scott completed their undergraduate studies at The University of Akron, where they earned their Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering.
