Alejandro Portillo

Alejandro Portillo is the current Director de Siniestros at MAPFRE, a position they have held since 2023. Prior to this, they served as SubDirector of Unidad de Riesgos Generales at MAPFRE PERÚ from 2008 to 2023 and were Sub-Gerente de Operaciones at Crawford & Company from 2004 to 2008. Alejandro’s extensive career began at Royal & SunAlliance Seguros Fenix, where they worked from 1989 to 2004 in various roles related to claims handling and general risk underwriting. Alejandro holds an Administrador de Seguros degree from Instituto Superior Tecnologico en Seguros, earned between 1987 and 1989.
