Carlos Llorente

Carlos Llorente has extensive experience in the insurance and risk management sectors, currently serving as the Corporate Deputy Director of Internal Audit of the Technical Area at MAPFRE GROUP since July 2003. Responsibilities include the coordination and supervision of international audits in actuarial, technical, and investment areas, as well as the design and coordination of Artificial Intelligence projects. Carlos has held several key positions within MAPFRE, including Corporate Head of Internal Audit and Risk Manager. Additionally, Carlos is a teacher in the Risk Management Master program at Asociación ICEA. Educational credentials encompass a Postgraduate degree in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning from IEBS Biztech School, and various qualifications in financial and risk management from notable institutions, including a Doctorado en Ciencias del Seguro from Universidad Pontificia de Salamanca.
