David Ramos Arenas

David Ramos Arenas is an accomplished professional in the insurance sector, currently serving as the CEO of MAPFRE Costa Rica since November 2000. With over two years at the helm of MAPFRE Seguros Costa Rica, David has demonstrated a commitment to growth and development within the industry. Prior to this role, David held various key positions at MAPFRE, including Director Técnico Territorial and Subdirector Técnico Territorial, overseeing operations in multiple regions and managing business insurance activities. David also contributed to the Principado de Asturias as a member of the Council of Civil Protection and served as a professor in the Superior Insurance Course at the Colegio de Mediadores de Seguros de Asturias. Academically, David holds a degree in Law from Universidad de Salamanca and a master's degree in occupational health and risk prevention, as well as completing an international management program at Oxford Leadership Academy.
