Emersson Tobar is an ISO 31000 Lead Risk Manager and serves as the Jefe Actuarial y de Riesgos at Mapfre BHD. Emersson has extensive experience in the actuarial field, having worked at Mapfre from 2010 to 2025 and previously as an Analista de Actuaria at Skandia from 2008 to 2010. Currently, Emersson is pursuing a Master’s degree in Seguros y Gerencia de Riesgos at Universidad Pontificia de Salamanca, following a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Universidad Nacional de Colombia, which was completed in 2007.
