Hugo Machado has extensive experience in the insurance industry, currently serving as the Director Regional Negocio de Vida for MAPFRE in Latam Sur Centro since April 2012. Previously, Hugo held various positions at MAPFRE, including Director Negocio de Vida for the Corporate Business Area and SubDirector roles in Operations, Market Pricing, and Technical areas for both Life and Non-Life products. Before joining MAPFRE, Hugo worked as an Actuary at Tranquilidade and served as an Actuarial Analyst at Towers Watson. Hugo holds a Post Graduation in Risk Analysis and Management from NOVA IMS Information Management School and a Post Graduation in Actuarial Science, Operations Research, and Statistics from Universidade Nova de Lisboa, along with a degree in Mathematics from Universidade de Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro.
