Joseph Shea

Joseph Shea, CPCU, SCLA, has extensive experience in the insurance industry, currently serving as an Examiner for National Claims at MAPFRE since 1996. In this role, Joseph provides technical oversight and management of multiline complex cases, including personal and commercial auto claims, Umbrella policies, and class action lawsuits. Previously, Joseph held positions such as Senior Manager of Casualty Claims, where oversight of a team of 35 direct reports was a key responsibility, and Supervisor of Casualty Claims, responsible for hiring new adjusters. Joseph's career encompasses a range of roles, from handling high exposure litigation as a Litigation/OTA Consultant to processing physical damage claims as an Adjuster. Earlier experience includes serving as a Property Field Consultant at George Butler Adjusters Inc. Joseph holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
