Mark Giro

Mark Giro has over 25 years of experience in security management and law enforcement. Currently serving as Senior Security Manager at MAPFRE since January 1998, Mark oversees the physical security operations for all MAPFRE USA properties, managing a departmental budget of $400k and supervising criminal investigations. Prior roles at MAPFRE include Security Manager and Supervisor (Lieutenant) of Corporate Security. Mark's law enforcement background includes a tenure as a Patrolman with the Sutton Police Department from 1988 to 2018, where duties encompassed patrol, investigations, and public assistance. Mark holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice Administration and Management from Purdue University and a certificate from the Massachusetts Criminal Justice Training Council.
