Michael Murphy

Michael Murphy is the Assistant Vice President and Head of Corporate Litigation, Employment, and Investigations at MAPFRE Insurance. Previously, they served as Of Counsel in the Labor, Employment, and Employee Benefits Group at Mirick O'Connell, and as an Associate at Burns & Levinson LLP. They have a diverse background in litigation, defending employers in various claims while advising on employment issues and drafting workplace policies. Michael holds a J.D. from Boston College Law School and a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the United States Air Force Academy. They were recognized as a Massachusetts "Rising Star" and honored as one of the "40 under Forty" by the Worcester Business Journal for their professional achievements and community service.
