Rick Avonti

Rick Avonti is a credentialed actuary with over a decade of experience in data analytics, specializing in personal and commercial lines insurance pricing, insurance reserving, and pension valuation consulting. They currently serve as the Director of Actuarial at MAPFRE, managing a team of analysts to evaluate insurance product profitability and forecast future growth. Previously, Rick held roles at The Hartford, Towers Watson & Co., and The Hanover Insurance Group, where they contributed to various actuarial functions. Rick earned a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Framingham State University and a Master's degree in Mathematics from the University of Connecticut.
