Jared Coplin

Jared Coplin is an award-winning mathematics teacher currently instructing at Bucksport Middle School while also serving as a Technical Fellow at MapLarge. They previously held roles at Qualcomm as a Compiler Engineer and at AMD as a Research Intern, contributing significantly to the efficiency of Machine Learning applications and exascale computing projects. With a strong background in computer science, including a Master's degree from Texas State University, Jared has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications in parallel computing and data compression. Additionally, their earlier experience includes serving as an Intelligence Analyst in the U.S. Army, where they produced critical intelligence reports and improved operational security.
