Matt Collum

Matt Collum is an experienced technology executive with a strong background in system architecture and engineering, currently serving as Chief Technology Officer and Head of Engineering at Maple since February 2022. Prior to Maple, Matt held the role of Principal Engineer at Wave HQ, where significant contributions were made in integrating Every banking solutions into the financial services suite. As Co-Founder and CTO of Every, Matt led initiatives to offer no-fee banking for online entrepreneurs until its acquisition by Wave in 2019. Previous experience includes pivotal positions at Cisco Systems, where design and architecture of scalable video platforms were key focuses, as well as foundational roles in developing critical applications at ExtendMedia, Workbrain, and the Toronto Police Service. Matt holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Ryerson University.
