Borna Ghannadi, Ph.D., is a software architect and product manager at Maplesoft since March 2018, where previous roles included senior research engineer and research engineer. Prior to joining Maplesoft, Borna served as a postdoctoral researcher and teaching assistant at the University of Waterloo from May 2013 to March 2018. Borna's research experience also includes work as a researcher at the Research Center for Biomedical Technology and Robotics from June 2010 to March 2013. Educationally, Borna holds a Ph.D. in Systems Design Engineering from the University of Waterloo, a Master of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering/Applied Mechanics from Sharif University of Technology, and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering, also from Sharif University of Technology.
