Laurent Bernardin

Laurent Bernardin has extensive work experience in the field of mathematical software and research. Laurent joined Maplesoft in 1999 and held various roles including Senior Developer, Manager, and VP of R&D. From 2009 to 2013, Laurent served as the EVP of Research & Development and later as EVP of Products and Solutions. In 2016, they became the COO and CTO of Maplesoft, and in 2019, they were appointed as the President and CEO. Apart from Maplesoft, Laurent has also contributed to organizations like The Fields Institute, SJK School, Southwestern Ontario Angel Group, Sigmetrix, Noesis Solutions, and Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule Zürich.

From 1981 to 1988, Laurent Bernardin attended LGL, where they pursued studies in an unspecified field but did not complete a degree. Laurent later enrolled at ETH Zürich from 1988 to 1999. During this time, they obtained both a Dipl. Ing and Dr. Sc. Tech. degree in Computer Science.
