AJ Staniszewski

AJ Staniszewski, Ed.D., is the Director of the Global Intermediate Academy at Mapleton Public Schools, bringing 16 years of experience as a bilingual educational leader committed to serving underrepresented populations. Currently, AJ acts as a consultant with the UVA Partnership for Leaders in Education, partnering with school principals to enhance their 90-day plans. Previously, AJ held various leadership roles within Aurora Public Schools and Mapleton Public Schools, achieving significant accomplishments such as opening new school buildings and leading schools from turnaround status to improved performance. AJ earned a Doctor of Education in K-12 Educational Leadership from Alverno College, complemented by a Master's degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Denver and a Bachelor's degree in Spanish Language and Literature from the University of Michigan.
