Mimi Xu is a distinguished sound artist, producer, and composer, serving as the Director of Mimi Xu Studio since November 2015. As the founder of Awkward Moments since May 2018, Mimi Xu has initiated a series of artistic collaborations emphasizing the role of sound in live performances. Experience as Music Director, producer, and composer at Management + Artists began in January 2014, focusing on original compositions for fashion films and special projects. Additionally, Mimi Xu co-founded Carnet de Voyage Music, contributing to site-specific performance art and music composition until May 2023. Previous roles include Head of Publication at Trax Magazine from January 2010 to June 2014, Music Director and sound designer at Streeters in 2012-2013, A & R at KUSKUS/ Première Heure from May 2007 to May 2009, and Music Marketing at Modular from September 2002 to September 2004.
