Mehdi Bashooki is currently the Engineering and Product Development Deputy at MECO (MAPNA Electric & Control, Engineering & Manufacturing), a position held since 2020. Previously, Mehdi served in various capacities, including Engineering Manager for SCADA, Smart Grid, and Railway Transportation projects, where they oversaw significant engineering activities, including the SCADA project for the Iran national power grid. Earlier in their career, Mehdi contributed as a Senior GT Protection and Governor Engineer, working on the testing and commissioning of over 100 gas turbine units. Mehdi is pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Tabriz and a Master's Degree in Power Systems Engineering at Amirkabir University of Technology.
