Zak Schwarzman

Zak Schwarzman is a General Partner at MetaProp NYC, a venture capital firm specializing in the real estate technology industry, where investments focus on transformative seed-stage startups. Additionally, Zak serves as an Adjunct Associate Professor at Columbia Business School, teaching a graduate seminar on venture capital. As a Kauffman Fellow since June 2018, Zak is part of a leadership organization in innovation and capital formation. Zak holds board positions with multiple organizations, including Pest Share and Mapped, and has previously worked as a Principal at Gotham Ventures. Zak's educational background includes an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BA from Tulane University. Zak also co-founded a Manna Project International community development site and served as Chairman of the Board of Directors for the nonprofit organization over seven years.
