Anzor Bashkhaz

Anzor Bashkhaz has over 10 years of experience in software development. From 2011 to 2017, they worked for BlackBerry in various roles, including Systems Software Developer, Application Development Consultant - HTML5, Analyst for BlackBerry Enterprise Server for IBM Domino, and Associate for BlackBerry Enterprise Server for IBM Domino. During this time, they were responsible for driving a product from conception to official release, providing code snippets, UI guidelines, and performance tips to carriers and partners, and interacting with high profile corporations' IT personnel.

From 2015 to 2017, Anzor Bashkhaz worked at BuildDirect Technologies as a Web Developer - Design Center. During this time, they introduced and educated the team on new technologies such as React, Webpack, Redux and ES6. Anzor also upgraded the Design Center into a modern, single page, robust application using modular, testable, reusable components with Angular, SASS and ES6 classes.

Finally, from 2017 to present, Anzor Bashkhaz has been working at Mappedin as a Principal Developer, Software Architect, Software Technical Lead, and Senior Software Developer. Anzor has held company-wide monthly live coding sessions to facilitate knowledge transfer between teams and help with onboarding new employees. Anzor also took the initiative to re-think the architecture of all of Mappedin's consumer products in order to unify them and eliminate code duplication using Monorepos and shared TypeScript libraries.

Anzor Bashkhaz obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (Honours) from the University of Windsor between 2006 and 2010. In June 2015, they were awarded a Certified ScrumMaster certification from the Scrum Alliance.
