Asad Umar

Asad Umar started their work experience in 2016 as a Software Engineer at VenExel Technologies (Pvt.) Limited, where they worked on 2 enterprise-grade Angular projects and received outstanding performance rewards. Asad also created fully multilingual dashboards. In 2019, they joined CreativeMorph as a Javascript Developer, where they worked on 3 Silicon Valley startups and received the employee of the month award twice. Asad created a React architecture with hooks and Redux, enabling developers to separate logic and appearance. In 2020, Asad joined Visuary as a Frontend Developer, where they optimized Three.js and React-Three-Fiber to improve performance and worked on a large code base spanning multiple repositories. In 2022, they joined Toptal as a Senior Frontend Engineer and worked on creating Google Chrome extensions and backend endpoints with Nestjs, Prisma, and Redis. Currently, Asad Umar is working at Autodesk as a Senior Software Engineer, starting in 2023.

Asad Umar completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Forman Christian College (A Chartered University) between 2015 and 2018. Prior to that, they pursued A levels at Lahore Grammar School from 2012 to 2014, specializing in Physics, Maths, AICT, and Computing. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications in programming languages such as Angular (Basic), Rest API (Intermediate), JavaScript (Basic), and React (Basic) from HackerRank, with the latest certifications obtained in June and July 2020.
