Michael Law

Michael Law has an extensive background in geomatics, cartography, analytics, technical writing, design, and marketing. Michael began their career in 2004 as a Cartographer at Rand McNally Canada. In 2005, they moved to Esri as a Cartographic Specialist, where they were responsible for high profile publications and played a key role in improving the quality and accuracy of Esri Press products. In 2008, they returned to Avenza Systems Inc. as a Marketing and Communications Manager and Applications Specialist. In 2020, they were promoted to Marketing Manager at Avenza Systems Inc., where they were responsible for setting strategic marketing initiatives and created a marketing strategy to align goals across Sales pipeline and specifically targeting verticals. In 2022, they joined Mappedin as the Director of Marketing.

Michael Law attended the University of Toronto - University of St. Michael's College from 1999 to 2003, where they earned an Hon.BA in Geography. Michael then attended Fleming College from 2003 to 2004, where they earned a GIS Cartographic Specialist degree in Cartography.
