Jacques Nel

Jacques Nel is an experienced Geologist and Project Manager with a strong background in the mining industry. Having worked at companies such as BHP Billiton and Sasol Mining, they have developed expertise in coal geology, exploration, and resource estimation. Currently a senior customer development consultant at Maptek, Jacques also serves as a GSSA representative and council member for the Geological Society of South Africa. They are pursuing a Master's degree in Civil Engineering Geotechnical at Stellenbosch University while holding a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. Jacques is motivated by challenges and is committed to delivering high-quality work across diverse projects.
