Jaroslav Polacek

Jaroslav Polacek is a seasoned Product Manager with extensive experience in geospatial and mapping technologies. Currently employed at MapTiler since May 2023, Jaroslav is responsible for defining product strategy, managing product roadmaps, and enhancing team adoption of agile methodologies. Previously, at Corpis Maps, Jaroslav identified market opportunities in B2B and successfully managed a new SaaS product aimed at optimizing sales performance. In prior roles at T-MAPY, GeoSystems New Zealand Ltd., and Geotronics Praha, Jaroslav focused on account management, project implementation, and promotion of geospatial solutions. Jaroslav holds a Master’s and Bachelor's degree in Geoinformatics from VSB - Technical University of Ostrava and has actively contributed to the industry through events, panel discussions, and mentoring.
