Tomas Pohanka

Tomas Pohanka is a Geodata Specialist at MapTiler. Tomas previously worked as a PhD student at Palacký University Olomouc from September 2014 to June 2020, where they successfully completed their doctoral studies in Distributed Sensor Data Databases as the basis for integration and analysis. Prior to that, they worked at Klokan Technologies GmbH from September 2013 to February 2014. Tomas is skilled in data analysis, sensor data integration, and database design.

Tomas Pohanka has a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Geoinformatika a kartografie from Univerzita Palackého v Olomouci, a Master's degree in Geoinformatics from Univerzita Palackého v Olomouci, and a Bachelor's degree in Geoinformatics and Geography from Palacký University in Olomouc. Tomas also has a degree in Slaboproudá elektrotechnika from Střední průmyslová škola elektrotechnická v Dobrušce.
