Katie Mahlawat

Katie Mahlawat has a diverse range of work experience. Katie is currently the Founder/CEO of MapUp, where they are focused on transforming mapping into a practical decision-making tool for commuters and mobility providers. Katie is responsible for building a unified routing intelligence and payment platform by integrating dynamic data sources. Prior to MapUp, Katie worked at Capital One as part of the Home Loans Data Risk Management team, where they implemented compliance frameworks for regulatory requirements. During their time at Ericsson, they led an initiative to automate data creation and backup procedures for AT&T and T-Mobile projects. Additionally, they have experience in product management at Irio Mobile Marketing and software engineering at Tata Consultancy Services.

Katie Mahlawat obtained a Master of Science degree in Management Information System from The University of Texas at Dallas in the academic year 2009-2010. Katie also has additional certifications including a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute and a SAS Certificate in Business Intelligence and Data Mining from SAS.
