Mara Prose Publishing is a Black and Native American woman-owned indie publishing house dedicated to uplifting diverse voices, bold storytelling, and fearless creativity.

Founded by multi-genre author and literary entrepreneur Mara Prose, we specialize in helping aspiring and seasoned authors break into the publishing world without compromising their vision. We proudly serve writers of romance, suspense, fantasy, and psychological thrillers—offering a suite of services that includes ghostwriting, developmental editing, book design, self-publishing coaching, audiobook production, and more.

At Mara Prose Publishing, we believe storytelling is a sacred art—one that holds the power to heal, liberate, and inspire. Our mission is to dismantle traditional gatekeeping in publishing and give indie authors the tools, guidance, and support to publish with power and purpose.
