cofounded and helped grow Chubbies from zero to > $100M exit.

now, taking all those learnings (from mistakes made), and co-founded Marathon Engine, the fractional marketing org for consumer brands > $20M/yr who are dealing with increasing customer acquisition costs, and looking to re-accelerate new customer growth PROFITABLY.

our differentiators:

- founded by exited operators: founded by exited brand operators. we're not agency people. we're real partners, and you treat us like actual members of your team

- proven brand + performance paid media growth playbook: we actually figured out how to invest in Brand AND Performance, and have proven, with our own brands, AND with our Marathon Engine customers, that we drive materially higher new customer acquisition growth AND contribution margin and/or contribution dollar growth (based on our customer's goals) than traditional performance agencies were able to achieve.

investing in brand is the single most impactful thing that can help a brand go from stagnating growth, more discounts and DR dependent to re-accelerated growth, less reliant on promotions or the ad platforms.

- handle all marketing functions: we're not just paid media. we handle demand planning, growth modeling, forecasting, CRO, AB testing, Web merchandising, creative strategy (paid + organic), creative analytics, creative production (our unique take), retention strategy and analytics, and the analytics functions.

- unique data set - we built marathon data, which is the only platform to quantify the return from brand investments in a way the CFO will buy into. having that data set allows us

- simply put: better results for our customers compared to other agencies, or from in-house resources. our results speak for themselves. our model allows our customers to start scaling new customer acquisition again, while generating more contribution.
